STV Machinery has decades of experience with the production of heavy military equipment. Today, mass-produced hull combat vehicle BMP-1, we supply nástavby for self-propelled howitzer ZUZANA 2 and nurture cooperation with partners such as BAE Systems or ELTA. Production takes place in Dubnica nad Váhom, in the place where zbrojná production of written since 1937.
From the first episode of the final product
Serial production of the complete korb combat vehicles BMP-1 represents a return to the tradition of heavy military industry in Dubnica nad Váhom. Every body goes through precíznym process — from digital design, the laser division of the material to robotic welding.
The project BMP-1
The development of a new hull combat vehicle BMP-1 was started on the basis of the assignment of the sister company STV GROUP in the Shelf. The vehicle is based on the construction of verified APC-1, however, with the modernisation of the ergonomics and the use of existing armor materials used in the manufacture of vehicles of the western type.
Project zahrnoval comprehensive digitalization of the proposal, the definition of materials, the development of a new production documentation and welding jigs. The result is a fully functional prototype that has successfully completed a test drive.
Serial production of the 2026-2027
Based on the successful prototype signed by STV Machinery contract for the serial production. The planned production capacity reaches 100 vehicles a year.
